Committees

Each year, a number of volunteers on various committees are given tasks as part of the social investment process. The various committees, backed up by permanent staff, are as follows:

1. Social Investment and Organizational Relations Committee (CISRO)

2. Social Investment Directors Committee (CAIS)

3. Organizational relations teams

4. Financial analysis team

5. Social Development Committee

This structure encourages community engagement while optimizing the resources available to Centraide Outaouais. The expertise of volunteers is put to good use, helping to analyze and ensure the overall validity of the decisions made.

Action Areas

Centraide Outaouais believes that poverty and social exclusion pose serious barriers to the development and well-being of individuals. For this reason, it has taken on the mission of meeting these twin challenges through investments in four action areas.

In 2023–2024, Centraide Outaouais is investing the following amounts in its areas of action:

1. Providing the basics: $746,009

2. Supporting Youth Success: $791,957

3. Ending social isolation: $594,145

4. Building supportive environments: $137,190
