April 2, 2026

Gatineau April 1, 2026– Centraide Outaouais is proud to announce a new partnership with CHIP 101.9, the Pontiac’s community radio station, as part of its 50/50 draw. This collaboration aims to expand the reach of this fundraising initiative while highlighting citizen engagement and the vitality of local media in the region, with direct benefits for community organizations in the Pontiac.

A 100% local impact for the Pontiac

As part of this partnership, funds raised through ticket sales in the Pontiac — whether purchased directly at the station or via QR code — will be entirely redistributed to community organizations within the MRC. Funds raised locally will stay local.

In total, nine organizations supported by Centraide Outaouais in the Pontiac will benefit from this initiative, including Bouffe Pontiac, le Centre Serge Bélair, le Comptoir St-Pierre de Fort-Coulonge, Le Jardin éducatif du Pontiac, la Maison de la famille du Pontiac, les Maisons de jeunes du Pontiac et Le Patro de Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield.

These organizations play a vital role in supporting individuals and families facing vulnerability, by offering local services tailored to the realities of the region.
