Centraide Outaouais Announces Appointment of New Executive Director

June 22, 2026

GATINEAU – Monday, June 22, 2026

The Chair of the Board of Directors of Centraide Outaouais, Sébastien Fugère, today announces the appointment of Émilie Gorin-Denois as Executive Director of the organization.

After five years with Centraide Outaouais — first as Director of Communications and Marketing, then as Director of Philanthropic Development — this appointment is a natural step in the professional and personal journey she has built within the organization. Through five fundraising campaigns, partnerships, and exchanges with
volunteers, donors, community organizations, and local stakeholders, Émilie Gorin-Denois has developed a deep understanding of the unique role Centraide plays in the community and the concrete impact it generates in the lives of individuals and families across the Outaouais.

"Émilie stands out for her inspiring leadership, professional rigour, and unwavering commitment to the mission of Centraide Outaouais. Her strategic vision, her ability to mobilize talent, and her skill in building lasting relationships with our partners directly contribute to the growth and influence of our organization. The Board of Directors is confident that she will guide Centraide Outaouais with ambition and care in the implementation of its new 2026–2029 strategic plan," said Sébastien Fugère, Chair of the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Centraide Outaouais, Émilie Gorin-Denois worked at the Banque de Nouvelle-Calédonie, where she held senior roles in communications and marketing. There, she supported major change management initiatives and contributed to the development of an organizational culture fostering team engagement and
alignment with strategic objectives. Deeply committed to her community, she was also recently elected as a board member of the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her dedication to contributing to the economic and social development of the region.

"It is with great pride, humility, and enthusiasm that I accept this appointment. For five years, I have had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary people who bring Centraide's mission to life: dedicated volunteers and donors, essential community organizations, generous partners, and a deeply committed team. Today, as we
begin implementing our 2026–2029 strategic plan, I am convinced that we have a unique opportunity to strengthen our collective impact. Social challenges are evolving, needs are growing, but so is our ability to mobilize the driving forces of the Outaouais. I look forward to continuing to build a Centraide that is inclusive, innovative, and deeply rooted in its community,
" concluded Ms. Gorin-Denois.
