Centraide Outaouais held its 78th annual general meeting on September 29 at the Fondation pour les Ainés de l’Outaouais centre.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Josée Couture and Nadae Oukrid as members of the Board of Directors.

  

 

 

 

 

During her 35 years in the field of education, Marie-Josée Couture has been called upon to accompany adult learners facing many problems, including academic difficulties, poverty, single parenthood, lack of social integration and violence, all of which are still prevalent today She has worked with many stakeholders from various community organizations and has often called upon external resources to ensure better follow-up with her students.

Nadae Oukrid is currently the Coordinator of Academic Services at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Engineering. She is studying part-time for a MBA in Business Management from Laval University and has an Honours Bachelor of Communication and an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa. In 2015 she was elected as the University of Ottawa Regional Mentoring Centre’s Rookie of the Year and Chief Mentor in 2017.
