Community agencies supported by Centraide Outaouais

Centraide Outaouais supports 88 agencies providing front-line services to vulnerable people dealing with issues of poverty and social exclusion.

The numerous services provided by our supported agencies include personal growth and parenting workshops, art therapy, community kitchens, daycare, crisis intervention, addiction counselling and assistance, workshops on sexual, physical and psychological abuse, help with homework, emergency board and lodging, job search, neighbourhood parties, meals on wheels and transport for the elderly. When we work together, more things become possible!

Promotes the social, cultural and economic integration of immigrant women and their families in their host society.

Adojeune

Maintains and operates friendship centers to help youth at risk. Encourages the participation of youth and of the general population in the delivery of recreational and community activities. Maintains and operates an emergency shelter for youth at risk.
